B Team

After taking a sabbatical during 2023-24, North Bristol's B Team makes a proud return for the 2024-25 season, playing the first half of the season competing in the Bristol & District Chess League Division 6. before moving into the newly created Bristol & District Chess League Division 7 for the second half of the season. The B-Team provides additional space for players to play rated games in the league, and gain experience of competitive matches, whether you're at the start of your chess journey, of if you're getting back into the game after taking a break.

2024-25 offers a season of promise for the B Team, which is a blend between our developing group of junior players, adult improvers, and the club's league veterans. Whether you're looking for a development pathway into the A Team, or a fun and sociable environment in which to test yourself in competitive chess, the B Team is a great place to be.
